Itasca, Ill. – The National Safety Council is pleased with the Senate confirmation of Doug Parker as assistant secretary for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration at the Department of Labor. This is the first confirmed leader in that position in more than four and a half years and is needed as the nation continues to fight the coronavirus pandemic in workplaces and communities.
