Amy Seymour has served over 19 years in the transportation and supply chain industry, including international logistics, maritime operations, trucking, transportation, warehousing safety and compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, EPA, USCPB and FRA. She brings direct operational and safety experience with international container ports, warehouses, railroad terminals, trucking transportation, molten sulfur pipelines, bulk and break bulk warehousing, facility management, and chassis maintenance and repair.

Amy was recognized in 2016 as an NSC Rising Star of Safety, she currently serves as the secretary for the NSC Transportation Safety Division. In her previous role, she was the vice president of safety and compliance, and then the National Director of Driver Retention for a leading drayage, transloading and domestic freight provider. Amy currently the director of safety at Port Houston. Port Houston operates the eight public facilities along the 52-mile Houston Ship Channel, including the area’s largest breakbulk facility and two of the most efficient container terminals in the nation.
