John Perkins is the vice president of global EHS and business continuity with The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He is a global environment, health, safety and sustainability (EHS&S) executive with over 25 years of strategic and operational experience across several industries including automotive, steel, electronics, distribution and construction.
Prior to Goodyear, John was the vice president of worldwide safety services with The Walt Disney Company, which includes parks, cruise line and entertainment. He was responsible for occupational safety strategies and led the global safety team. He also served as vice president of EHS for Johnson Controls, where he was responsible for the EHS strategic plan and led the global EHS organization, and he has held various EHS leadership roles across Tyco International and Visteon Corporation.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Walsh College. He is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
