Joseph Mokrisky is President of Capitol Motor Carrier Compliance, a commercial vehicle safety and compliance consultant based in Stoughton, Mass. He started his career in the transportation industry in 1979 as a truck driver. Today, Joe is recognized as a leader in transportation safety and compliance, working with truck, bus and other commercial vehicle operators in need of compliance, risk management and operational improvement.

Joe is featured in local and national news media outlets for his expertise in commercial vehicle safety. He joined the National Safety Council in 2007 as a member the Transportation Safety Division and Commercial Fleet Section. Today Joe is a member of the Board of Delegates and serves as chair of the Transportation Safety Division. In 2015 Joe was awarded the Distinguished Service to Safety Award, the highest honor bestowed on an individual safety professional by the National Safety Council.
