Cook County Traffic School
Urgent: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, in an effort to ensure the health and wellbeing of our instructors and students, National Safety Council, in partnership with Cook County, has canceled all classroom Traffic Safety School classes until further notice.
NOW AVAILABLE: All Cook County Traffic Safety School courses are temporarily being conducted as a 4-hour online class. The process is easy and convenient, and the online course can be completed right from your own home. To register for the 4-hour online class, please call (888) 245-8450 and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.
Please complete the online class at least 10 days prior to the end of your court supervision period to allow time for processing.
National Safety Council, the leader in driver safety courses, has partnered with the Circuit Court of Cook County to provide Traffic Safety School.
Whether you have received a traffic ticket or are ordered by a judge, NSC offers the courses that will help you improve your driving skills and meet the needs of your court supervision. Classes are available in English, Spanish and Polish.
You may reschedule your Traffic Safety School class at no charge within the grace period, which ends 14 days prior to your scheduled class date. After this date, you may still reschedule your assigned class, however you will be charged a mandatory rescheduling fee. There will be no exceptions granted.
If you missed your scheduled class, it is imperative that you reschedule immediately. You will be charged the full tuition of $46 to reschedule a missed class. Traffic Safety School must be completed a minimum of 10 business days prior to the end of your court supervision period.
