Will my progress and course history transfer to the new LMS?
Yes, course progress and completion records will be transferred automatically. Users must complete an entire module before migration. If they are in the middle of a module at the time of transition, they will need to retake that module in the new LMS. Progress will be saved at the start of their next module. If a user has completed a module, they will resume from the next module upon migration.
What will happen to my saved content and materials?
Instructor and learner materials, including documents and quizzes, will be migrated. If any content is not transferred, we will notify affected users.
Why are we transitioning to a new LMS?
We are upgrading to a new LMS to enhance user experience, improve functionality, and provide better support for learners and instructors.
When will the transition take place?
The transition will occur in phases, with full implementation expected by March 31.
Who will be affected by this change?
All instructors, learners, and administrators who currently use learn.nsc.org will transition to the new platform.
How will I be alerted that this is happening going forward?
NSC is actively communicating via email with updates with pertinent information regarding the transition, milestone dates and feature information. NSC will also have a banner alert on learn.nsc.org system with information.
Will I need a new login?
Users will retain their existing login credentials.
How do I access the new LMS?
You can log in at learn.nsc.org starting on March 31, 2025.

What new features does the LMS offer?
The new LMS includes enhanced reporting tools, a mobile-friendly interface, improved course tracking, and an upgraded assessment system.
Will all current features be available in the new LMS?
Most features will remain, though some may have improved functionality or slight differences.
Will there be downtime during the transition?
We aim to minimize disruptions; any potential downtime (outage) will occur from 6 p.m. March 29 through March 30. If we should foresee any additional downtime, updates will be communicated in advance.
How will I know when to switch to the new LMS?
We will send an email notification pre-launch and post updates on our website with important transition dates and instructions.

No, any courses you have already purchased will be available in the new LMS.
