International Institute of Risk & Safety Management is a professional membership body that provides recognition, information, support and enhancement for health and safety professionals and specialist members related to the health and safety field. The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) was established in 1975 as a professional body for health and safety practitioners. It was created to advance professional standards in accident prevention and occupational health throughout the world. Over the last three decades IIRSM has grown from a collective group of UK health and safety professionals to a thriving International Institute spanning over 70 countries.

Minerva is a not for profit corporation dedicated to improving business effectiveness and reducing injuries through Safety Management Education. Minerva’s vision is that tomorrow’s leaders will strive for excellence in Occupational Health and Safety as an essential component of their corporate management. They target tomorrow’s leaders by encouraging colleges and universities to embed safety management education into the Core Curricula of business and engineering programs. The Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board was established in 1911 because of a historic compromise between Saskatchewan workers and employers. Under that compromise, workers injured on the job in covered industries do not have to pay for the benefits they receive or sue their employers to get them. Costs are paid entirely by Saskatchewan employers in covered industries. This is referred to as a no-fault insurance system, also referred to as the compensation system. The WCB’s vision is to eliminate injuries and restore abilities. This is the fundamental driver of all that we do on behalf of our customers – the workers and employers of the province. The WCB is governed by The Workers’ Compensation Act, 2013.
