Driving Down Key Safety Risks with Drones, sponsored by Univar Solutions - September 2021: Drones are a growing safety technology for mitigating risks associated with confined space entry, multiple inspection types, working at heights and other key workplace tasks. As one of the most rapidly developing aspects of aerospace, science and technology, drones will increasingly disrupt traditional processes as technological and adoption barriers are overcome. Join us as industry experts share best practices, lessons learned and case studies regarding the use of drones in the workplace to prevent serious injuries and fatalities.

  • Sept. 7, 11 a.m. (CT) - An Introduction to Drones for Workplace Safety: Panelists discuss how the application of drones has evolved over the years and the wide range of industries adopting drones for improved safety. Common uses involve drones being sent into high-risk areas, such as confined spaces and areas requiring work at height. Watch the webinar.
  • Sept. 14, 11 a.m. (CT) - Expanding Safety Using Drones for Confined Space Entry and Other Critical Tasks: Critical workplace tasks may include a variety of jobs involving performing work in permit-required confined spaces or conducting surveys at height. Confined spaces typically have restricted means of entry or exit and are not designed for continuous human occupancy due to a lack of ventilation or other situational factors. Additionally, critical inspections for emergency response may need to be completed at heights that could pose a fall risk. Learn how inspections and other tasks can be performed safely through the use of drones, and how drones can minimize or eliminate related exposures to workers across safety-sensitive industries. Watch the webinar.
  • Sept. 21, 11 a.m. (CT) - View from the Top: Using Aerial Drones for High-risk Situations: Aerial drones can be used to reduce or eliminate serious injuries and fatalities related to working at height, the most common non-roadway hazard leading to workplace fatalities. Drones are used more and more to conduct aerial inspections and other work to keep employees safely on the ground. Learn about specific use cases and best practices. Watch the webinar.
  • Sept. 28, 11 a.m. (CT) - A Deeper Dive into Reducing Risk with Submersible Drones: Join our panel to learn how submersible drones are used to conduct underwater inspections and other critical safety tasks. Submersible drones can eliminate the need for employees to work in high-risk conditions and can help reduce serious injury and downtime, improve safety inspections and lower inspection costs. Watch the webinar.

Proximity Sensors for a Safer Workplace - July 2021: Explore one of the most commonly mentioned safety technologies for reducing hazardous situations in recent Work to Zero research.

  • July 13 - Proximity Sensors for a Safer Workplace: The use of proximity sensor technology can help prevent struck-by and caught-between injuries, two of OSHA's Fatal Four leading causes of workplace fatalities. In this webinar, industry experts share best practices, lessons learned and case studies on the use of proximity sensors in the workplace to mitigate leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities. Watch the webinar.
