NSC Announces 2019 Rising Stars of Safety

Thirty-one young professionals awarded for outstanding dedication to safety in the workplace.

Itasca, IL – The National Safety Council is proud to announce its 10th class of Rising Stars of Safety – a group of future leaders younger than age 40 dedicated to making workplaces safer. The 31 honorees have promoted a cycle of continuous improvement within their organizations and created initiatives focused on measureable outcomes.

“These young men and women have risen to the challenge of addressing safety in the workplace, and we are proud of their accomplishments,” said Lorraine M. Martin, NSC president and CEO. “The work they are doing is making our world a safer place. We commend their commitment.”

The honorees for the Class of 2019 are listed below and will be featured in the September issue of Safety+Health magazine. They will be formally recognized during the 2019 NSC Congress & Expo in San Diego, California, also taking place in September.
