The NSC Construction and Utilities Division has compiled an Excavation and Trenching Toolkit, an online resource available to all NSC members. The toolkit provides vital safety information for workers in the excavation field. Best-practice materials are divided into fact sheets, planning tools, and prevention and protection resources.
The Young Professionals Division of the National Safety Council encourages all members to film a Safety Short video. Safety Shorts are aimed at those new to the safety profession, whether fresh from college or experienced in their professional life but new to safety. The series explores the value safety professionals find in their career, and also will provide deeper technical session on assorted safety topics across all industries.
