Work to Zero Safety Technology 2020 Report

The Work to Zero initiative at the National Safety Council has launched its first research report, Safety Technology 2020: Mapping Technology Solutions for Reducing Serious Injuries and Fatalities in the Workplace. With Bureau of Labor Statistics data showing the highest total worker fatalities since 2008, efforts to reduce workplace injuries do not seem to have the same impact on reducing workplace fatalities.

The report looks at 18 different non-roadway hazardous situations in which workers are most likely to die and provides anywhere from five to eight potential technology solutions for each situation.
