IL Remedial Driver Education Program
A condition for reinstatement of your driver's license or permit following suspension is your participation in an approved Graduate to Safety Driver Remedial Education course. Drivers between the ages of 15 and 24 who have received 2 violations within 24 months, or who received a violation under the Zero Tolerance Law, are required by the State of Illinois to complete the Driver Remedial Education course.
The National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course - Alive at 25 program has been approved by the Secretary of State Driver Services Department to meet the Driver Remedial Education course requirements. Classes are available statewide and cost only $90.00!
Students may also be required by a specific court to complete the Alive at 25 program. If a court is requiring you to complete the class, you must indicate the appropriate court on the registration page. The cost for a court-required class is $40.00.

National Safety Council is not responsible for drivers taking the incorrect class. Drivers will not be given a refund if the class has been completed. Please be sure you know exactly what class is required before you continue the registration process.
