Available April 18, 2016- Updated with the 2015 CPR and ECC GuidelinesThis CPR and AED course prepares the layperson to respond to choking, breathing and cardiac emergencies — and how to use an Automated External Defibrillation unit in conjunction with CPR. The course uses a combination of instructor, Video-Self Instruction (VSI) and hands-on training. The new NSC First Aid programs come with industry-specific training scenarios, allowing instructors to customize course content to make it more relevant to those in certain industries, some of which are high risk.If you would like to issue course completion cards to students who successfully complete this course you must be an authorized instructor. If you’re already authorized to teach first aid and CPR by another nationally recognized provider, you may be qualified to become an authorized NSC instructor.

Includes 4 adult manikins. These manikins feature a CPR rate monitor that provides visual feedback for compression rate. Student will also hear an audible click when the chest is pushed to the appropriate depth. This enables students to gauge the rate and depth of compressions, and allows the instructor to monitor several students quickly and easily. The manikins also simulate the way a victim's head would move if CPR is required.
