The opioid crisis continues to take tens of thousands of lives each year. Over 47,600 Americans died of an opioid-related overdose in 2017 – that’s more than 130 lives each day. Government and public health officials, along with non-profits, community based organizations, and family and friends are working constantly to find effective ways to reverse this trend.
