Upcoming Webinar

Frontiers of Technology: Automated Enforcement for Distracted Driving
1 p.m. (ET) Aug. 25, 2026
Most are aware of the dangers of using a mobile phone while driving, but this behavior has proven difficult to change, with distracted driving crashes killing thousands each year. What if the automated enforcement methods that have been so successful in reducing speeding and red light running could be used to deter phone use, too? Sgt. Adam Moore of the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department and Mike Avera of Acusensus will discuss their partnership on the Highway 7 Safety Coalition program and using AI cameras to alert law enforcement to distracted drivers. Longtime safety advocate Paul Aasen will also speak about Minnesota’s ongoing efforts to eliminate roadway deaths. Register.

New webinars are posted in this space regularly. Please note that comments, questions or perspectives raised in the discussion or chat do not necessarily reflect those of the Road to Zero Coalition, its members or other participants.
